  3. Hi Charley,
Greetings from England. My wife Margaret had one of your basses for her birthday 7 years ago, and we met you a few years ago, when you were on tour in the UK with Suzy Bogguss. Our band Vertical Expression,is one of the longest established UK Contra bands, having been together around 14 years. In 2013 we toured across New England from Philadelphia, to Boston and New York, 12 gigs in 14 nights with a lot of miles in between, and the bass behaved brilliantly. Earlier this year, a bass player friend of ours, Stuart Kenney who plays with Rodney Miller and the Stringrays from New England, were on tour with us in the UK. Margaret lent Stuart her bass for the tour and he fell in love with it. We have just heard from Stuart that he has bought one of your basses, as we knew he would. We are regularly using the bass for our gigs, and it always assembles and breaks down with ease. It is becoming a favourite of some of our dance friends who are amazed when I take it apart at the end of the night. It is always a good talking point. Thank you once again for engineering such a great instrument which has never let us down. I myself enjoy playing it and it sounds amazing through Margaret’s Gallien Kruger MB150 bass amp. A match made in heaven. Best regards Ian and Margaret Benton (UK)

    • Hello Ian and Margaret,

It’s good to hear from you, and know that all is well. Thank you for spreading the word about the folding bass in the UK. Let me know if you ever need anything.

      All the best,
      Charlie
